Optimizing Water Management Costs and Achieving Compliance: Standards Updates, Verification and Validation, and Innovative Testing Methods
Following the presentation, learners will be able to:

  • Know the difference between a “Plan” and a comprehensive and defensible water management program
  • Conduct a facility gap analysis for compliance with CMS S&C 17-30 and ASHRAE Standard 188
  • Communicate the value of verifying the program has been correctly implemented and validating the program is effective at controlling the hazard
  • Analyze appropriate validation responses to positive Legionella results
  • Understand the value of new and innovative Legionella and other waterborne pathogen validation testing methods
