  • Brief overview of the effects of HCFCS and HFCs on the environment and the impact on both ozone and global warming (GWP).
  • R-22 HCFC phase out schedule.
  • Why many HFCs (including R-410A) are now being phased out due to high GWP (Global Warming Potential) and the time line of these phase-outs.
  • Information regarding R-22 inventory levels, type of alternatives, and retrofit options. Why replacing and or retrofitting equipment before the end of its useful life may not be wise.
  • Planning Ideas including if and when the following actions make sense, stockpiling R-22, Retrofit options & impacts (both positive and negative).
  • New Refrigerants on the horizon
