Incorporated in 1970, CSHE originally included the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter which was founded in 1956, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Chapter founded in 1959, and the Inland Chapter founded in 1967.
The San Diego Chapter was established in 1972, Central Coastal and Orange County in 1976, Central Valley in 1977, Northeastern California in 1980, Kings River in 1986, Kern River in 1989, South Bay Counties in 1991 and Redwood in 1992.

Lemone Green began his engineering career in 1994 as a stationary engineer at a premier 36-story Class A high-rise office building. In 2004, he transitioned into the healthcare engineering field, holding a variety of roles, including Engineer, Project Manager/Construction Manager, Chief Engineer, and Director of Engineering. Since July 2022, Lemone Green has served as Director of Engineering at Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center.
He has also had the privilege of serving as Vice President of the CSHE Northeastern Chapter beginning in 2020 and has been the chapter’s President since 2023. His professional journey has been profoundly shaped by involvement with CSHE and ASHE, and he is deeply appreciative of the mentorship, support, and community these organizations have provided.
