    Maintenance Engineer/Manager
    Full-Time Regular, Exempt

     Job Summary:

    The Maintenance Manager supervises a staff of four maintenance workers who perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing or electrical servicing to the hospital facilities. Conducts technical training to staff and oversight of maintenance operation. The Maintenance Manager may issue disciplinary actions or performance improvement plans, and performs personnel evaluations. The incumbent also performs a variety of journeyman level, general, mechanical and preventative maintenance duties, as well as inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment, facilities and hospital vehicles. Maintains preventative maintenance schedule and performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all buildings and equipment. The Maintenance Manager maintains annual inspection schedules to ensure Title 22 & 24 compliance. The incumbent monitors and improves cost control measures and is constantly aware of budget and department costs (including control of overtime and other expenses). Responsible for hospital-wide work order system, and inventory control. Performs all security surveillance of hospital facilities.  Serves as Chair of the Safety Committee and Co-Chair of the Disaster Preparedness Committee. Responsible for performance improvement measures and monthly reporting, department and capital budgets, various reports, maintenance policies and procedures. Ensures a safe environment for all employees, patients, family members and visitors.

    Qualifications:
    1.             Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    2.             Licensed in one or more trades or disciplines
    3.             Extensive knowledge of industrial electricity
    4.             Extensive knowledge of electrical/mechanical air conditioning and refrigeration
    5.             7+ years background in hospital or industrial maintenance
    6.             5+ years supervisory experience
    7.             Experience creating and complying with hospital maintenance policies and procedures.
    8.             Experience complying with Federal, State and Local regulations
    9.             Must exhibit strong communication skills including verbal and written.
    10.          Must exhibit strong presentation skills.
    11.          Must exhibit professionalism under stressful and emergency situations.

    DIRECTOR, PLANT OPERATIONS AND FACILITIES

    Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation, a nationally recognized leader in the field of medical rehabilitation, is seeking to fill the vital role of Director of Plant Operations and Facilities to oversee operations and continued development of the Facilities, Environmental Services, Material Management/Purchasing, Security, Communications/PBX and Grounds departments on our twenty acre campus in Pomona, California.
