About Us

Incorporated in 1970, the California Society for Healthcare Engineering, Inc. (CSHE) originated with a chapter in San Francisco which has founded in 1956. Currently, CSHE has 1,000 members with eleven chapters statewide. The CSHE is the California chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). Membership is open to individuals actively employed directly in a healthcare facility or healthcare system or those who provide consultative, advisory, products or equipment to healthcare facilities.

CSHE provides opportunities for members to communicate and exchange ideas to keep abreast of operational disciplines with regional chapter meetings, the annual institute, code review communications, seminars and the CSHE Engineering News.
